How to Print Your Coloring Page

Once you have converted a photo to a coloring page, the easiest way to get it onto paper is to download the PDF that matches the paper in your printer. The tool provides an A4 PDF and a US Letter PDF. Both contain one page with a white background, black lines, and room around the artwork. You can also download a PNG if you want to edit the image first.

1. Choose the right file

Choose Download PDF for a straightforward print. Select A4 if your printer uses 210 × 297 mm paper, or US Letter if it uses 8.5 × 11 inch paper. Choose Download PNG when you want to add text, crop the image, or use it in another design program. The PNG is 2480 × 3508 pixels and includes 300 DPI metadata; the detail in the result still depends on your original photo.

2. Check paper and margins

Open the PDF, select the same paper size in your print dialog, and check the preview before pressing Print. Start at 100% scale if the complete page fits. If your printer clips an edge, switch to “Fit” or “Shrink to printable area.” The PDFs place the artwork inside a margin of at least 10 mm, but home printers differ in how close they can print to the edge.

3. Make a quick test print

Try the sample page below on plain paper before using thicker coloring stock. A black-and-white print setting usually gives a clean result while saving color ink. If lines are faint, try a higher print-quality setting or choose a source photo with stronger contrast. If the picture looks too busy, upload a simpler photo with a clear subject and less background detail.
